Fragrant Rice with a Mixture of Goodness


Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 90 minutes (Frying + Cooker)

Ingredients (Serves Two)
1 cup of rice, washed
1/2 chicken breast meat, skin removed, washed and diced
5 Chinese mushrooms, soaked in water for 10 minutes with stalks removed
3 tablespoonful of dried shrimps, soaked and pounded 
1/2 bowl of chopped yam
2 teaspoon of chopped garlic
2 teaspoon of vegetable cooking oil

Seasoning : A mixture of 2 tablespoon of dried scallop oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of water and 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce

Method
1. In a heated pan, add cooking oil.
2. Add in chopped garlic once the oil is heated up and fry till golden brown. 
3. Add in pounded dried shrimps and fry till fragrant.
4. Stir in the yam, diced chicken, sliced mushroom, and fry.
5. Pour in mixture of seasoning and stir fry till the ingredients are evenly coated.
6. Add in the washed rice, and stir fry for 1 minute.
7. Transfer the rice mixture into rice cooker. Add water to just enough to cover the rice mixture and put it to cook.
8. Garnish with chopped spring onions, parsley and fried onions to serve.
