Watercress Pork Ribs Soup with Peanuts
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Ingredients
1 pack of pork ribs
1 pack of spare ribs
1 pack of watercress, remove the bottom end of the stalk and washed
1 handful of soaked peanuts (buy from store selling dried goods and specify that it is for cooking use)
Salt
Water
Method
1. Boil 1 litre of water and put in spare ribs and pork ribs to parboil. Let them simmer in pot for 5 minutes.
2. Transfer spare and pork ribs into slow cooker. Pour the pork base into the slow cooker, draining out the scum.
3. Add in peanuts and select "auto" mode and let it cook for 45 minutes.
4. Add in watercress and let it cook for a further 15 minutes.
5. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt (adjust to your personal taste), stir and ready to serve.
