Oven-Grilled Pork Belly
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 105 minutes
Ingredients
1 pack of pork belly (they usually come in two strips)
2 tablespoonful of chopped garlic
Cumin seeds
Black pepper
Sea Salt
Can of beer
Pork Lard (or olive oil)
English parsley
Method
1. Preheat oven at 170 degrees with grill mode.
2. Slit the skin of the pork belly lightly.
3. Marinate it with chopped garlic, 1/2 tablespoon of grind black pepper and 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds
4. Sprinkle some salt all over the pork belly, making sure that the pork bellies are marinated evenly
5. Put the pork belly on to a flat oven tray, with skin at the bottom.
6. Pour the beer lightly over the pork to the depth of about 2 cm.
7. Grill in oven for 90 minutes at 170 degrees with a lid over it.
8. Remove tray from oven and turn the pork with skin facing up, and turn heat to highest temperature for another 15 minutes.
9. Remove pork from tray, cut them into slices and garnish with English parsley to serve.
