Steamed Cod Fish in Homemade Sauce
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients
Light Soy Sauce
Rock Sugar
Water
Shaoxing chinese wine
250gm of cod fish
Sliced younger ginger
Fried chopped garlic
Fried sliced onions
Spring onions
Method
for the Sauce
1. Mix 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of rock sugar, 1 teaspoon of water, and 1 teaspoon of Shaoxing chinese wine together. Stir well. (Remember to taste it!)
for the Dish
1. Boil a pot of water to prepare for steaming.
2. Place the fish onto a steaming plate. Place sliced younger ginger onto the fish and pour homemade sauce over the fish and sprinkle fried garlic over it. Add cut spring onions.
3. Steam for 4 minutes.
4. Garnish with fried sliced onions and serve.
