Affogato

This is only possible if you have a coffee machine. I love my Nespresso machine - it is very easy to use and it can be affordable if you get their entry level range (especially if you don't drink your coffee with milk). But because I love cappuccino, I got one with an attached milk dispenser for convenience sake. 

Alternatively, you can get black coffee sachets from supermarket and dissolve them in hot water.

Your selection of coffee should be bitter and strong, as it blends better with the sweetness from the ice-cream. For Nespresso range, I recommend those from the Intense Family group - Roma, Apreggio, Ristretto or Indriya.

Ingredients 
Vanilla Bean Ice-cream
Coffee
Water

Method
1. Add 1 scoop of vanilla bean flavour ice-cream into a nice crystal bowl (or any nice dessert ware).
2. Dissolving your coffee in an expresso cup of water (or with your Nespresso coffee), pour coffee over the scoop of ice-cream and serve.
